Pleased to welcome Bhante Dhammika back to Buddhist Library on 19 Feb 10AM
Bhante Shravasti Dhammika is traveling to Singapore in Feb 2023 and will join the Buddhist Library for Puja on Sun 19 Feb 10-11.30am. Join us then to see him!
For those newer to Buddhism in Singapore: Bhante is an Australian monk who was born in 1951 and became a Buddhist as a young adult. He spent many years in Singapore before returning home in 2019, and is a good friend of the Library. You can read more about him here (https://buddhlib.org.sg/bl-talk-series-40-years-a-monk-by-bhante-dhammika/) and can even pick up some of his freely distributed books when you pass by the Library
This is the first time Ayya Seri is teaching in Singapore. She has been based in Western Australia and learnt from her late teacher Ayya Vayama. For the past 12 years, she tended to her ill teacher with care till the latter's passing. We welcome all friends to come and listen to the Dhamma, be inspired and gain some wisdom.
Ayya Seri has also published a tribute for Ayya Vayama Bhikkhuni Theri (her late teacher) in remembrance of her 1st year death anniversary in Dec 2022. It consists of 32 stories. They are a beautiful read.
