 Ajahn Sister Vayama is the Abbot of the Dhammasara Nunnery. She has been a nun since 1985,ordained in Sri Lanka at the Nun 's Island by Ayya Kehma.Before returning to Australia to become the resident Abbot of Dhammasara,she spent one year at the Amaravati monastery in England,under the guidance of Ajahn Sumedho.
