Venerable Michael Yeshe was born in London and raised at Kopan Monastery in Nepal. He became a monk at age 7 and at 13 left for Sera Je Monastery in South India where he spent the next 18 years studying Buddhist philosophy.
In 1996, he was invited to America where he stayed for two years doing translation work. Before he came to Singapore, he was at Vajrayana Institute in Sydney. Australia.
