Venerable Chuan Cheng is currently the Assistant Professor of Buddhist studies and adviser to the Management Board of the Buddhist College of Singapore (BCS). He holds a MA in Indian Religions and a PHD in Buddhist Studies from SOAS, University of London. From 2005 to 2008, he was the Dean of Academic Affairs of BCS. He has been a Buddhist monk in residence at Kong Meng San Monastery since 2005.
