 Venerable Shih Chi Boon, also known in Korean as Gae Mun Sumin, JDPS, was given 'inka' in November 1998. The Venerable founded Kwan Yin Chan Lin Zen Centre in 1991. The Centre objective is to share the Buddha's teachings with all so that we may attain our true selves, understand our own situations, live with wisdom and compassion in our daily lives.
'Inka' - teaching authority - is given by Zen Master Seung Sahn to senior students, called Ji Do Poep Sa Nims (Guides to the Way, or Dharma masters)
