Venerable Dr. Chang Qing, a Singapore Buddhist monk, was ordained in 1989 after he graduated with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic. He holds a BA in Chinese Literature from the National Taiwan University (1993), and received his PhD in Buddhist Studies at the University of Bristol (UK, 1998). The Venerable has more than 10 years of experience in teaching Dharma classes and giving Dharma talks in both English and Mandarin. He has also published several English and Chinese articles.
He is currently the Deputy Rector, Dean of Academic and Assistant Professor at the Buddhist College of Singapore, teaching subjects such as Prajna and Madhyamaka Thought in India and the Philosophy of Three Treatise. In addition, he is also conducting English Dharma classes at the Singapore Buddhist Federation and Poh Ming Tse Temple.
