Venerable Shi Chun Hui was born in Singapore in 1971. She graduated with BA degree in Arts & Social Science from National University of Singapore in 1993. Thereafter she worked as a school teacher for three years before she took up the robes as a Buddhist nun in 1997, under the tutelage of Venerable Sek Te Yuan. After her higher ordination in Taiwan, she r\went to Sri Lanka in 1998 and 1999 to further her studies in Buddhism. Venerable is now a resident nun at Pao Kwan Foh Tang. She is spiritual advisor of NUS Buddhist Society and Singapore Polytechnic Buddhist Society.
