Introduction

 
 
 

Luang Phor Jairk was born in 1916. At age of 20, he decided of his own
accord that he wanted to be ordained as a monk and study with Ajahn Kongma 
(a student of Ajahn Mun Bhuridatto) He studied with Ajahn Kongma for 3 years
and travelled to Chiangmai to study with Ajahn Mun for 2 years. He also
spent time studying with Ajahn Mun's teacher, Phra Ajahn Sao Kantasilo. He
was one of the few persons present at the moment of Ajahn Sao's passing
away.
