Biography of Dharmacari Anagarika Devamitra





 




Dharmacari Anagarika Devamitra is also an English Buddhist. Born as Michael
Joseph Kitching, he adopted the Buddhist name Devamitra after he became a
member of the Western Buddhist Order. Since then, he has been a full-time
Buddhist worker for more than 20 years. 

He teaches Buddhism and meditation
at Buddhist centres around the world. As a senior order member of the
Western Buddhist Order, he provides spiritual guidance to FWBO centres in
Europe, America, India, and Australia. Over the years, he has helped to
conduct lectures, workshops and meditation courses at the Buddhist Library.
